duomedia customer marketing campaign scoops a third place Global Advertising Creative Excellence (ACE) award in the Product/Service PR Program category from Business Marketing Association (BMA) of New York City.
duomedia, the European B2B public relations firm based in Belgium, played a lead role in a PR & marketing campaign for Eastman Kodak to promote its presence at drupa 2012, the pinnacle exhibition in the printing industry’s calendar. The successful media campaign was implemented in close cooperation with Kodak's US agency Eric Mower + Associates.
Held every four years, the two-week long global trade event is a showcase of future technologies and as such the major market indicator that continues to have industry influence long after its doors close. The last show attracted 314,500 visitors from more than 130 countries. There were 1,850 exhibitors.
For Kodak's campaign duomedia emphasized its nine product launches and spotlighted customers using Kodak's solutions to produce innovative applications. Along with pre- and post-event media relations in each region, a drupa landing page was created on Kodak's website featuring written and video customer case studies in various languages. This was extensively supported by social media efforts on a worldwide basis.
At the show, the multilingual "K-Zone Theatre" on Kodak's stand featured customer interviews, panel discussions and award presentations while more than 70 journalists from around the world held interviews with Kodak executives. The press conference with Kodak’s CEO Antonio Perez was attended by 200 international trade journalists.
duomedia also leveraged for its clients the global PR & social media programme they run for drupa organizer Messe Düsseldorf.
Anja D’Hondt, duomedia managing partner, comments: “Our aim for the campaign was to help Kodak showcase its technology, innovation and leadership at such a pivotal time for the company. We wanted to enable it to present just some of the many amazing customer stories it has to tell as a result of its commitment to supporting operations as they adapt to the demands of such a fast moving industry sector. At the same time, we aimed to further build on the strong relationships Kodak has with customers, partners, and influencers. We were pleased we were able to do that and it is fantastic that the Kodak has received the recognition it deserves”.
