The Americk Group announces the acquisition of leading UK label printer

image Americk Group has announced the recent acquisition of Systems Labelling Limited, the largest independent label producer in the UK.

Systems Labelling Limited with sites in Deeside, Runcorn and Essex and employing 140 people is a leading supplier of labels into the dairy, beverage, food, household and cosmetic sectors. The acquisition will complement the existing flexible packaging and carton businesses under the Americk banner increasing the range of products available to the enlarged customer base.

Recent acquisitions and significant organic growth at Americk have doubled turnover over the last two years to circa £100m with the aim to maintain this trend and double the size of the business within the next three years.

The Americk Group flexibles division operates under the brands of Webtech, Primopost and ASP Flexibles whilst the carton division is based In Dublin and trades under the Marchmont Packaging brand. The group has invested over £9m in new equipment in the last two financial years.
