Peace of mind with assured product integrity and coding, combined with maximum uptime, are essential for any efficient, cost effective and profitable operation. This is exactly what is offered by the Videojet Technologies range of solutions being presented at NEW UK, University of West England, Bristol, on September 25 and 26.

On stand 9, at the event presenting solutions and expertise from specialists in the embedded, electronics or electronic manufacturing sector, Videojet will showcase the Videojet 1520 small character continuous inkjet printer and the Videojet 7310 fiber laser. “There are some specific challenges presented by this market sector and we are keen to show how readily our solutions can address them,” says Tom Hawkins, sales director UK and Ireland. “NEW UK is a great platform to do that and we are looking forward to showing how our simple to use, easy to integrate solutions can help any operation - large or small.”

Integration is simple via a USB port, which allows for hot-swapping print jobs and backing up messages while off-site control and diagnostics is made possible with Ethernet capability through Connector software – this delivers simple, seamless real-time message changes. The print head automatically calibrates and cleans itself for consistent performance and longer print runs while the Smart Cartridge ink delivery system prevents spills during replacement - reducing waste and operating costs.

COMPACT VERSATILE AND RELIABLE SOLUTIONS

Videojet will also highlight the compact, versatile and highly reliable 7310 fiber laser coder for applications such as direct parts marking and unique identification coding on a variety of metal, plastic and other hard-to-mark materials in the aerospace, automotive, electronics, medical devices and tools markets. As well as a compact mechanical design it has one of the smallest marking heads of its kind and straight-out or 90-degree beam options for increased versatility in tight spaces. Less-frequent maintenance intervals maximize uptime and reduce costs.
