Edale have opened a Sales and Support office in Lamlukka, Thailand to cover all regions of Asia Pacific; including Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam, on a sales and servicing basis which will be run by new company ‘Edale Asia Pacific’, under the wider Edale brand. The office is the next step for Edale who see Asia Pacific as the next big growth area in their expansion plans.

Edale Asia Pacific, headed up by Tony Law, General Manager, and Pasin Sritong, Sales Manager, have already sold three Edale machines into the region. A five colour FL-1 compact flexo press for labels in Bangkok, an eight colour FL-5 Carton line for the production of paper cups into Thailand and most recently a six colour FL-3 label and flexible packaging press into Malaysia.

Edale Asia Pacific have already spent a great deal of time at Edale’s UK Head Office getting an in-depth feel for the product portfolio, participating in various agent training days and a weeks in-depth training during the factory acceptance for the FL-5 Carton line, this is being followed by another weeks training during an FL-3 press installation in the UK in mid November.

“We couldn’t be happier to be involved in the newly formed Edale Asia Pacific. Having worked with Edale for a number of years in a separate division, we are already impressed with the way that Edale do business – as well as their range of machinery. Edale being a UK manufacturer, means machine quality is guaranteed to be world class”, says Tony Law.

"We are pleased to have Edale Asia Pacific join our growing team of sales agents" states James Boughton, Managing Director of Edale. "Their key industry relationships and extensive knowledge of flexography, combined with the ability to service such a wide area make for a perfect fit for our growth strategies in these regions."

Edale Asia Pacific will manage sales efforts for the countries both directly and through a team of distributors, as well as providing an additional level of service and support for valued customers in the area.
