From April 6 to 9, the International Card Manufacturers Association will be hosting the ICMA EXPO in Fort Lauderdale. One of the key topics there will be the influence of NFC and mobile payment on the card manufacturing industry. Schreiner PrinTrust will be showcasing a solution that combines the advantages of contactless cards with the convenience of integrated NFC solutions for mobile phones at the exhibition. The NFC-Sticker turns any handset into a cashless means of payment which is readily available and works in the existing payment infrastructure.
Fast, easy and secure: The highly flexible and thin NFC-Sticker is based on the time-tested technologies for contactless credit cards and ensures effective and secure NFC functionality in the existing payment infrastructure. Mobile phones, which are always within reach, are ideally suited as carriers for the sticker, which thus complement or provide an alternative to contactless cards. Due to its special shielding layer the NFC-Sticker by Schreiner PrinTrust delivers reliable performance even on metal housings. In addition, the design enables short transaction times and high read ranges.
The NFC-Sticker can be customized according to the particular requirements, for instance by modifying the chip and layout. A MasterCard® certified product version is available as well. It allows consumers to use the label like a contactless credit card on PayPass™ terminals around the world.
