Edale exhibit at Cartes, Paris

Edale, the UK manufacturer of high specification printing and converting equipment, today announce their attendance at this year’s Cartes exhibition taking place from 4-6 November 2012, in Paris.

Edale will take the opportunity to shine the spotlight on their expertise in the manufacturing of bespoke machinery for the telecom recharge card and scratch off lottery ticket sector, a strong growth market for the UK company with a number of high value machines sold in recent years.

Over recent years, Edale have seen a steady growth in demand for machinery for the production of telecom recharge cards. Having broadened our technological capabilities and awareness in such a high security sector we have seen a rise in sales and installations of our Card Line machine” says Export Sales Director Bernhard Grob.

Edale’s single pass print and personalisation Card Line is a web fed solution for the production of low cost pre-paid telecom recharge cards, reducing cost by combining multiple manufacturing processes into a single process with the capability to produce up to 1m pins or 200,000 CR80 sized products, per hour. Edale’s offering is a ‘turnkey’ solution that not only provides the capital equipment but also a high level of consultative support, training and consumables.

Recent Card Line installations have taken place in South Africa, Nepal, UAE and the biggest sale to date into a company in Zimbabwe; there are a number of others which Edale are unable to publicise due to NDA’s being in place.

Cartes is an exciting exhibition for us” explains Managing Director James Boughton. “Cartes is one of the key shows in Edale’s event calendar; it gives us the opportunity to showcase the applications that can be achieved with our machines to a dedicated audience. Some of our biggest ever machine sales have been as a result of our attendance at Cartes”.
