Avery Dennison Label and Packaging Materials today announced a new product finder on its North American website. The tool is designed to help customers find the relevant products for most label and packaging applications in just a few clicks.
“Our product finder is designed to save our customers time in selecting products for their labeling applications,” said Rick Neiman, global director, digital marketing for Avery Dennison Materials Group. “No matter the hour, they have access to technical information and recommendations for thousands of our pressure-sensitive materials.”
The product finder, which can be found at label-tools.averydennison.com, automates product information and enables searching for product solutions. Site visitors can specify application needs for any combination of variables, including facestocks, print methods and environmental conditions, to find solutions that meet converting and application requirements.
In addition, users will be able to find service programs, shipping locations, lead times, as well as widths and lengths available for each product combination. The tool is accessible via mobile devices — giving users the ability to access this array of information anywhere and at any time.
Avery Dennison also recently launched a live chat tool on label.averydennison.com to connect users with service consultants, application consultants and quality consultants via instant messaging. Live chat is available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. eastern time. Visitors simply enter information about their business and application area and are linked with a representative who can answer questions specific to their needs.
“Live chat and the product finder are two examples of how we at Avery Dennison are investing in tools that make it easy for customers to do business with us,” said Anita Sturtz, customer engagement director for Avery Dennison’s Materials Group North America. “We strive to provide a completely effortless experience however and whenever the customer interacts with us, and both new tools do just that.”
