AWA Alexander Watson Associates’ 2015 portfolio of professional events related to sleeve labeling technologies continues with their popular interactive Introduction to Heat Shrink Sleeve Label Technologies Workshop, on 21-22 July and 23-24 July, in Plymouth (Minneapolis), Minnesota.
On site at key industry technology facilities
Offered in English and, for the second workshop, additionally in simultaneous Spanish translation, the events’ two-day programs take place at two leading sleeve industry participants’ facilities – Flint Group Narrow Web, for live demonstrations of sleeve label printing; and Accraply Inc, for live hand-on tutorials on the slitting, seaming, inspection, application, and shrink of heat shrink sleeve labels. The workshop program also features presentations from leading industry technology experts; a ‘cures and remedies’ panel discussion where workshop participants can quiz experts on quality issues, and how to avoid or remedy them; and an up-to-the-minute overview of the global sleeve label market from AWA Alexander Watson Associates.
Full supporting literature
Networking opportunities during workshop breaks, and at the cocktail reception on the first evening, complete the program; and all participants will take away a printed manual covering the workshop content and presentations, providing a permanent reference and a complimentary copy of the AWA Heat Shrink Sleeve Label Technical Manual and Test Methods.
Early booking recommended
The workshops complement the industry’s ‘must attend’ event, the recent AWA International Sleeve Label Conference & Exhibition in Miami, and is followed in Brussels, Belgium, by the AWA Sleeving Technology Seminar on 28 September.
Supported by Accraply Inc, Esko, Flint Group Narrow Web, and Klöckner Pentaplast Group, the Introduction to Heat Shrink Sleeve Label Technologies Workshop is open now for registrations – and intending participants should book early, as spaces are limited. www.awa-bv.com/link
