UPM Raflatac launches VANISHTM in Europe: ‘No-label look’ redefined for food, beverage and personal care brands
UPM Raflatac’s VANISH™ range of ultra-thin, clear PET label faces redefines opportunities to maximize brand representation with the no-label look. At just 23-microns, these thin and robust materials are perfect for rendering innovative, seamless and highest quality imagery in a way previously considered unattainable.
For food labelling on rigid plastic and glass packaging, VANISH™ labels allow consumers an excellent view of the product together with the brand, instilling the confidence to buy. Goods labelled with VANISH™ are also more likely to dominate on retail shelves over competing products featuring paper or glue-applied materials. Compared to other clear film solutions, the thin VANISH™ label faces use less raw material, making them a more economical and sustainable choice.
For beverage labelling VANISH™ is the ultimate replacement for screen printing on bottles and an excellent choice for cans. Self-adhesive printing technology enables numerous brand differentiation opportunities with effects including fluctuating opacity, raised textures, scents, and glow-in-the-dark or UV fluorescent print.
