Labeling a Smarter Future
UPM Raflatac is bringing a set of educational tools that will provide unique, immersive experiences to anyone that wishes to try them.
The company has partnered with Clemson University to unveil their first-ever RafStore Virtual Reality tool, which is an interactive consumer shopping experience complete with education, engagement and entertainment. Within the RafStore, players can "shop" virtual store shelves stocked with a variety of beverages and home and personal care items - and see for themselves how important the label can be when choosing a product and the capabilities different label materials have at capturing consumers' attention.
They will also premiere theirRafMATCH UP game, where booth visitors will have the opportunity to become a certified "Film Superstar" by playing the game and correctly choosing the best film label material for each personal care container type. Players who score high enough on this tablet-based game will win a pair of stylish #FILMSUPERSTAR sunglasses.
Labels matter and that's why sustainability is at the core of Labeling a Smarter Future. As a part of UPM Raflatac's commitment to sustainability, they will be showcasing Label Life, an environmental life cycle assessment tool that helps customers and end-users understand the impacts of different label materials.
Witness sustainability by design in action
Visit UPM Raflatac's booth to see first-hand the company's commitment to sustainability. Their new RW85C wash-off adhesive - paired with clear and white film face materials - has met the Association of Plastic Recyclers' requirements for PET bottle recycling. UPM Raflatac will be applying some of these labels to bottled water right before your eyes at the booth.
