EUROPEN Appoints New Managing Director

EUROPEN, the European Organization for Packaging and the Environment, has announced the appointment of Véronique Bagge as its new Managing Director. Ms Bagge, a French citizen and Brussels resident, will take up the post at the Brussels secretariat of EUROPEN on 2 January 2012. She has previously worked in the toy industry and for the European Commission and the European Parliament.   Until earlier this year Véronique Bagge was Group Sustainability Manager for the Danish Toy retail group TOP-TOY Ltd. Based in its Hong Kong buying office which manages purchasing for its European retail stores BR and TOYS “R” US, Ms Bagge was responsible for Group sustainability policy and CSR strategy.
